Aaron is relentless in taking on issues with passion and energy. In 2011, The Maryland Daily Record named Aaron one of its "Leadership in Law" recipients for his pro bono work representing 650 Holocaust survivors from around the world before Congress and state legislatures. Along with a group of passionate advocates, these efforts led to a bi-lateral accord between the United States and France resulting in a $60 million compensatory fund for the victims and their survivors.
While maintaining a legal practice, Aaron serves as Director of Government Affairs for the Maryland Multi-Housing Association. MMHA is a trade association that represents the owners and managers of more than 190,000 residential rental units throughout the State of Maryland.
Aaron's prior experience includes Special Counsel to a major international firm and Associate Corporate Counsel to a regional financial institution.

Aaron is active in a number of community and business organizations, including the the Baltimore Sister Cities International Advisory Council. He has served as an Adjunct Professor for a course in "Urban Management" at the University of Baltimore. Aaron has also been a guest lecturer and speaker at a number of universities and law schools on topics related to politics and the political process, law, and the Holocaust.

Aaron served as Chief of Staff to Howard County Executive Ken Ulman, and was responsible for coordinating and integrating the efforts and initiatives of various departments. Before being appointed Chief of Staff in Howard County, Aaron was President and CEO of the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation. In this capacity, Aaron focused his agenda on recruiting and growing the County's business community, Base Realignment and Closure Commission (BRAC) issues, homeland security, technology, and small business.
In addition, in 1999, then-Mayor Martin O'Malley appointed Aaron as Special City Solicitor for Policy and Development. Aaron represented the City of Baltimore before the Maryland General Assembly and worked on economic development and homeland security matters.
Following law school, Aaron served as Circuit Court Law Clerk to Maryland Supreme Court Justice Clayton Greene, Jr. (ret).
